I saw the Lusso yesterday in person and I still think the FF is a better looking car with better quality parts. The entire interior does seem way too busy for me. Anyway I'm sure it will be a great car, but I think I'm going to stay with the FF.

Figured that by about page 4. I'm trying to get to the Courmayeur event, but might be unable. Be nice to meet some likeminded Fchat Ferrari enthusiasts (even the ones who don't like the Lusso!)

What's wrong with steel wheels?! At least I don't have to worry about hitting potholes and getting stranded in the middle of nowhere.

And what's wrong with hand-wound windows?! Less things to break and easier escape if submerged in water, and I would spec them if available.

Of course, price should correctly reflect them.

Increased unsprung weight. Sorta defeats the purpose of advanced sportscar engineering.

Heaven forbid anyone criticize the car. Babies.

Maybe I should have started a thread about women's asses, as our moderator owner has done. Would that be more to your taste?

    Yes, exactly.

Not stupid enough to buy a car worth a nice house in most of America that's built to be so cheap.

They're keeping the MSRP down why? Is this a price point Honda?

Just raise it up a little and make a bespoke car.

I checked yesterday and my Speciale front horse is definitely plastic, possibly the back one too.
Damn...I'm going to have to sell it now. :(

    Lol.

If the cars built now are built cheap - what was my old 355? It was one of the best cars I've owned from drivers car perspective, but the fit'n'finish? Well, let's just say that any words used to describe that here, would be heavily censored.

I doubt Ferrari spends a lot less money on the Lusso than they did on the FF.

Not sure whether or not I'll make it for test drive of the Lusso this fall, but I'm sure it will a great car to drive. Now I've seen it in person, and I like it.

If one thinks it looks and feels so cheap, just go ahead and have the interior done in Kangaroo leather all over and have the interior trim pieces done in magnesium.

No offense to anyone here - I saw the Lusso first hand in person and compared to FF parked a couple of cars down FF was new too MY2016. Looked at both in and out the FF looked and felt dated. The lusso did not give the sense of being cheap at all. I thought it was a great car.

Brian is right in certain aspects but overall lusso a great car. That parked lusso belonged to a person trading their FF. There are people on both sides of the aisle. So I guess whatever makes you happy! Just go for that.

The best of having both FF/GTC4 around at the same time is...now there is something for everyone. It's too bad both are not produced simultaneously.

If the two were sold simultaneously and customers coming to a purchase owned neither, the FF would not sell. The Lusso would be chosen at least 9 times out of 10.

If you already have an FF, and are not ready to change, it is an easy choice to stay with the FF - the Lusso is not a completely different car, it is a variation on the theme Ferrari started with the FF, and a change is expensive.

Most people would think we're all bonkers for arguing ad nauseam about the differences anyway.

That said, the Lusso is much nicer...;)

Lukey, go F up some other thread with you BS, eh? You are making comments like "no one would buy it" when we have people who are not liking it and not switching. So, yes, the FF would sell. I would not take a Lusso for free. It's a corporate look, a cheap build, a too soft ride, and lacks elegance in the style of Pinanfarina/Ferrari.

It's a RACE car built on features to thrill people who are not able to get past them. Even the dealers know this, if they will be honest with you.

As for others, if you can't see the cheap, it doesn't mean it's an equal quality design integrity or parts build. Buy what you want but let's not pretend that new features 5 years later for the same MSRP are anything other than proof of corners cut. if price matters and not protecting owners with a higher prices new model, Ferrari has changed, indeed.

In a theoretical world where both cars were sold at their respective MSRP, brand new, alongside each other, very few would choose the FF - note, I'm not talking about those who already have an FF if you read my previous post properly. If you think different, fine. But you're not right IMV. See...no insults even needed.

You have the car on order, yes? So to me you are blinded by that bias, and the bias of the new. And I have no interest in the car at any price.

How about we agree to not pollute these threads?
