Any preliminary numbers out there?
and 305 they may sell - at 400k plus the screaming lease deals will be back on the table again just like the FF. We know Ferrari needs to hit quotas now etc....wasn't the case in 2012 and they still needed to give people incentives to take the cars.
305 with no options, it's looking like another 350+ car. If people like it as much as they seem to, it will easily sell better than the FF.
Got a feeling SOME of the expensive options are going to be standard equipment Then we might be able to get a reasonable spec one for around 350 mark At only 680hp this engine has got to be significantly cheaper than the one in a F12 Which in turn should help them in pricing strategy
I hope that you are right. Such gorgeous/fabulous model as close as 300K as possible with previous options becoming standard equipment would do a lot to push sales to record levels for years to come.
My guess will be pushing close to $400K for well optioned. Look at the FF. Lets say starting price at $325K. Plus the delivery fees and dealer prep fees and gas guzzler you're already atleast looking at $335K. $40k in options comes QUICK when a carbon cup holder is $4K and a small paint upgrade can cost $12K, not to mention a wheel upgrade at $7K or a front parking camera at $4K...you get the point.
What's the difference? Fixed numbers like this are ego driven and dumb IMO. It's a new Ferrari, can you afford it? Or no? 350 or 380 lease is almost the same thing. If you have the cash for 350 you have 380. Get the car you want, and pay what you have to pay to drive it and enjoy it.
