Hi guys, I've got an oppotunity to buy lusso 2019 6k miles on the clock. 280k USD Any advice on depreciation over next 3-4 years?
Thanks for the answer, I'm ready for it but do you now approx what kindof depre. in % Im potentially looking at here?
I am not sure what you are trying to do... But if you are doing a business plan (or personal wealth management plan or whatever you want to call it), then take the worst case scenario. And worst case scenario for this kind of cars can be pretty brutal. Maybe half of what you paid for. But Jimmie's answer is the good one. Yes, it will depreciate. How much? How fast? you will get as many answers as times you ask the question. And btw, that's also market dependent, and we dont even know which market you are in. so
Get it and go out and drive it. I have troublefree 61K Kilometers on mine and use it almost every day. Glorious N/A V12 which we will never see again in the future.
People are changing their minds to electrical, SUVs, etc... And new competitors also: Roma, Granturismo, DB12... I think Lusso values will drop very very fast.
you can never go wrong w/ a v12. sure it will depreciate but who cares, drive it-enjoy it and don't look back the world could explode tomorrow.
It's hard to tell without knowing any of the particulars. I would definitely recommend that the OP offer well below ask.
OP, what are the specs? A ‘19 with a sticker around $370-$380k with 6k miles is probably worth around $240-250k now
Check out Four Wheel Trader, he does a good job pulling together market data. The idea of using historical FF prices as a baseline makes sense to me. Be prepared for worse, though I have no particular reason to think it will be. These cars fill a nice little niche for people who want four seats and a V12 but don't want an SUV. And now that supply of these cars is fixed, prices might stabilize at a higher level than many expect. But who knows? Prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and enjoy the car every chance you get! Also: pics?
whats a good value for 2017 <8K miles with sticker around $370-$380k ? or how much off the original MSRP assuming 8K miles or less. I would think the only difference is the service coverage and remaining factory warranty if any

While the mods and spec are great, the depreciation will be steep. Just haggle a bit or wait, and enjoy the car. Life is too short.
I'm in the market for the same vehicle my expectations in 3 to 4 years the price will be similar to an FF around $120-$140K. If your friend is the first owner and you know the car is in great condition it might be worth $240K, versus taking a gamble on a car you cant verify actual mileage and have no idea how it was used. $280k is out of the question no comps to justify that price.
Im not so sure. Unless FF go to the 80-100k mark. There will always be a 30-40k difference between similarly optioned FF and Lussos. No way they will settle at the same level.
I assume the GTC4LussoT will depreciate below high quality FFs eventually. For the V12 you’re likely right that the Lusso should command higher prices over the FF though in the long-run who knows… the more analog appeal of the FF and more unique styling may win the nostalgia factor.
I think FF will be too much depreciation to expect since that is prior model. I would suggest looking at a 2017 Lusso with good spec and 30k miles. What is the list on that? Then factor in dealer margin and that will give you a decent view of how the market is valuing a 2yr old and highly driven car. And make sure to look at cars at Ferrari dealers and CPO vs not. When I bought my ‘18 Lusso and I looked at market, it seemed the floor for the v12 was about $220k list from dealer. Not sure how it’s changed. BUT, the Lusso is one of the worst depreciating…but I got it so my you son could join me in it after we watch F1 on Sundays - i never think about the depreciation now, just the fun we can have together in it Good luck! Buy it and pretend the money is gone! You’ll enjoy it that much more…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
that’s a great spec with all the right options and mods. It’s a $255k car at the most IMO. I got mine in Sep 22 and still love it today. Favorite car in the garage and the FiExhaust took it to another level
Its a great spec. Did you get it? No one can reliably tell u how much it will depreciate. With puros spec’d in 450-500k min i dont foresee a lusso dipping under mid-low 200s. Just expect a 10-20 percent depr and enjoy it.
