Very interesting- sorry to hear that. I guess you will just have to drive even faster to help dust it off!

Chemical Guys Butter wet wax on the rear window helps it shed wet spray and morning dew. Not ideal but better than nothing

Oh my... What did I do....
I was proud of myself skipping rear wiper on Lusso until I read this....
    Ah....I am so doomed...

I have been driving the Lusso for six months (rainy season in Miami) and have never thought about the rear wiper (which I deleted) once. Then again we don't have slush on the roads here, only lots of rain in the summer and the Lusso handles wet pavement very well with the four wheel drive.

I don't notice the excess heat unless the car spends a long time parked in the direct sunlight. The front windshield is actually more of a problem if facing the sun because it is not heavily tinted and the carbon steering wheel gets super hot . In any case 30 seconds of driving with the windows down, then the a/c takes over, I close the windows and its fine, no big deal.

Driving through downtown Miami is really cool especially with the lighting on the buildings at night, the passengers love it.

Nice - You may want to consider 3M Crystalline 70 tint on the front windshield it's barely noticeable and very effective
I use to have it on my Porsche GTS. Just google it - you should be able to find plenty of opinions on it

I am always worried about night vision with windshield tint. My eyes are finding it more and more difficult to drive at night as time goes on. A bit of discomfort from the heat of the sun through the windshield doesn’t warrant the safety factor of less than optimum vision due to the tint imho.

I ordered it not knowing I would need it but just because I thought it was "cool" to have a wiper on my "station wagon ferrari".
Happy to see I will also put it to use. Future classic? Lol

I agree...Lusso needs the rear wiper in our winters...and it doesn’t look too bad.

My wife does about 12k miles/year in all weather conditions so a rear wiper is a must in Chicago's slush, snow and lots of mud from the many constructions around.

Do you know if you turn off the 'stop start' feature on the Lusso? Thank you.

Or the incredible amounts of salt that are on our roads.....as for wet performance, well that’s a different story, GTC4L is amazing in wet/slippery conditions

Your car looks VERY nice with the tint on the driver and pax windows....it all fits! Well done - including the rear wiper.

I asked my dealer and he is checking if the wiring is already in-place in order to retrofit.......

I had received a mail from my dealer saying that my order is already locked, but I asked him anyway if there was a chance to add the rear wiper... We'll see what he says. Regarding the prewiring, surely there is an extra switch to add as well no?

Neil, I notice many drivers in hot climates keep a towel in the car and they drape it over the steering wheel. That might help. I have also noticed as I get a little older my eyes don't love the oncoming headlights etc. I think there are glasses with lenses that help reduce this but I also think the glasses are a little weird looking.

I've actually tested yellow-tinted eyeglasses, and worked fine during night driving. Buy a pair of shooting glasses with either yellow or orange lenses and try them.

I believe HELE is standard on all North American V12's because Ferrari is trying to keep it's MPG figures higher for city driving. HELE must be a standard feature to quote the higher MPG for city driving.
