I went for a spirited drive yesterday and to my dismay it dropped into neutral on a high rev upshift, typical of the clutch nearing the end of it's life from my understanding. After saving this car from certain death you would think it would be grateful instead of trying to bankrupt me all the time [emoji849]

I started looking up various suppliers pricing on a new clutch and stumbled on GTE Engineering's clutch rebuild service. Has anybody done this? Any feedback?

Kevlar clutches are not recommended for F1 applications.

We put a High Tech Exotic kevlar clutch in a 360 F1 car with a twin turbo setup, and it was extremely grabby off the line/leaving a stop. Not very nice to drive in traffic. Once you got going, it worked very well and did not slip at all under high boost.

For a stock car, I think I would try a clutch that was made with organic friction material, such as the PEGA organic clutch.
