My Cali T arrives next week and I meet the guy that does the body prep work for the dealer. He is also certified for the Gtechniq products and offered the above treatment at a reasonable price since he would be preparing my Cali T.

Does anyone have first hand knowledge on this product being applied to there vehicle?

EXO v2 is amazing. I'd PM Robert Earl to check the dealer prep guy out. In general dealer prep guys are poor detailers or they would be out on their own. Just sayin

Agreed. Have used these two products on both of my cars recently and find it an amazing result.

You need to make sure your dealer prep guy knows wtf he is doing, because the paint needs to be TOTALLY corrected prior to applying Crystal Serum, because CS is hard as a rock and will need to be sanded off if he makes a mistake. Also, any flaws he neglects to correct (and in any new Ferrari there will be many) will be truly sealed in under the CS. CS is a certified detailer-only product and I can show you the dual action pigtail scratches on my Maranello from where my "professional" applied Modesta primer under the CS. Frustrates the piss out of me.
I applied my own EXO and every other coating I have ever used.

The guy doing the Gtechniq is the same guy Ferrari is using for Paint Correction when the Cali T arrives this week. The other day when I spoke to him he was detail two brand new 458's.

I'd go check his work to make sure his work meets your standards. You don't want someone you have not vetted polishing your new car. IMHO.

As a general rule dealer detailers are no the top of the detailing food chain. I'm sure there are exceptions. Hope your is one of them.

    GL with the new car.

Well I will soon find out, on one of the new 458's he did a Gtechniq on last Saturday, looked amazing?

He not only does all the paint correction on the new Ferraris but the trade-in's as well for the dealership, so he must be reasonably good if they let him details there cars.

Anyway, its done at the dealership, and before I pay the balance of the car? so if there is a problem its there problem?
