One of the reasons I like the Porter Press edition of the 250 GTO.

So Andy from Cotswold Road and Race who is very knowledgeable on such matters explains it like this.

The publisher and project sponsor had planned a limited run of 100 leather-bound Uber examples.

Sometime after publication (and presumedly after slow sales) they then revised this to a total of just 50 copies. Some customers had requested specific numbers eg 99 and 100, obviously numbers over 50.

Therefore there are some numbers higher then 50 in circulation, however these do also count towards the strict number of just 50 copies that were issued.

Cotswold Road and Race are managing the sale of the remaining stock of this title so reach out to them for more information and sales.
