Maybe you didn't laugh at the time; but that story has to make you laugh now (right?). Let me know when you're out in California; would love to get together.

The last pic above is towards the rear of the center console looking directly down...it is a compartment covered by an alcantara cover piece...you can see the pull cable for an emergency release (likely gas cap, I haven't read the manual).
Jas, Great job, the specs are great! It stands out from all other GTO's I've seen. Enjoy her in good health. What color was your CS that you traded? Geno
Geno, it is Rosso Scuderia with factory stripe, radio delete, factory spare tire kit, tubi ngt/hyperflows, 5300 miles, perfect, no repaint, 2nd owner, no track time. Contact Joe Collado at FOCNJ, 732-248-9100, not sure if he still has it or whether it has moved on (I know there was a lot of interest in the car before it even got there).
Chas, there was a letter sent with the car from Ferrari stating that the fire extinguisher would be sent separately.
Thanks for all the pics... you always provide some very interesting details that you don't usually see in photos of these cars. I'm sad that the CS had to leave but I guess you only have so much space. Things fell through last year but hopefully I'll be making my way up there to visit your area in 2011.
Love the CF rocker panels. Haven't seen that on a GTO before. Hopefully you'll bring this one out to cars and coffee once it warms up a tad!
If there is a pull cable under the dash on the driver's side (which would be for the hood), then that pull cable is likely for the gas cap cover or the trunk.
Jas: Congratulations on the new car. You have quite a wonderful collection of vehicles. Enjoy them all in good health.
such a wicked car Jas! think you made the right call with bare carbon rockers. i love the side shot pic with 16m next to it and the hacienda in the background...just 'modern' but also 'classic' looking at once. i also thought you sold the CGT and was really disappointed, but saw it was still there in the garage amazing collection, sir! drive em hard, be safe and laugh your butt off in the process. cheers!
