Hi, from my understanding the stock GTO’s brake pad are made by Pagid, does anyone know if the rsc1 the same as the one stock GTO’s pad or is it better? Is it necessary to upgrade to rsc2 or 3?

    Thanks in advance

Quite sure it is just the regular T4300 Textar compound found in all of Ferraris OE pads, being it for an Enzo, Laf, Cali T or F12. It is also the compound GM has used on the Corvettes with ceramic brakes since the C6. It's a 25+ year old compound developed by Textar which is owned by Pagid for Brembo as a budget friendly OE alternative to more expensive compounds. The RSC1 is a much newer compound which is similar but of a better quality and manufactured by Pagid.

Does the GTB and GTO share pad shape?

Yes GTO and GTB use the same size pad, the calipers are the same, currently I am using ss hose lines and SRF fluid, stock pad and disc, I am thinking to upgrade the pads with Ccm disc any review from RSC1/2/3? I do a lot of track days with my car on the big tracks, and some road trips but not much around town.

You're right. Looks like the front size has been discontinued.

It's not a problem finding wheels equally light.

If you order these in 9.5"x20" front and 11.5"x21 rear with OE offsets, then you get a set of wheels that will be as light, if not lighter than OE.

The GSR1 is a well proven and very strong wheel, that is about as light as forged alloy wheels come.

Then run them with the Dunlop Sport Maxx Race 2 in 295/30R20 and 325/30R21. Those are the tyres off of the GT2RS with the Weissach pack. The Cup 2 Track Connect is also available in this size if that's what you prefer, but the Dunlops are the grippier of the two.

In that case, try the RSC2 pads. The shape you need is the same as the 458/599 GTB then.

I have tried them on the Pista and 488 and been very happy. Last a lot longer on track and still very streetable with much better track performance in conjunction with the Castrol fluid.
