Does anyone recommend an insurance carrier for the GTO? A $5,000 deductible seems to generate a $7,500 premium. Hagerty won't insure the GTO. thanks.

I'm in Mass. I was quoted a $4900 premium with a $10k deductible. I think the underwriter was Chartis.

    Best I've seen, too.

Sadly, would have to do all cars/house on Chubb and the deduction we get against 5 years of the same, along with much better premium for our 18 year old, runs the total package above what the Chubb reduction on the GTO was worth...

Insurance is like a woman. Can't live with them...well, you know :)

Also depends on what you're buying. My policy is an agreed value above sticker with depreciated value payment for damage and a walkaway option. So if I get in an accident, I get the repairs paid for plus the reduced value paid for or I can walk away. It was the best type of insurance for the GTO

Chubb has my house and umbrella policy too, so maybe thats why its a fair deal. I insured the GTO for $500K.
