Heard a very credible rumor that a GTO just sold.
Some Ferrari's are doing well in this economy.

    Has Bamford sold 3767?

    Allow me to elaborate...

In the current (March 2010) issue of Octane Magazine there is a feature on 3767 GT, the ex Piper. BP Green 250 GTO.
    In the acknowledgements it says:
'Thanks to Michael Lee for the superb GTO...'
The number plate for this car is now 66 GTO, instead of 63 GTO it wore for many years in Bamford's ownership.
A possible scenario is that Bamford wanted to keep the '63 GTO' plate and sold the car without it and the new owner has acquired the '66 GTO' plate for it to wear.

Does anyone have any facts to back up my speculation?

    Paul

Michael Lee is a longtime employee of Mr. Bamford.

    Thank you for clarifying that.
I see Michael Lee is JCB's Chief Photographer.
