Sorry if this has been covered before (quick search didn't reveal anything obvious).

Any ideas on how many sold so far vs the 599 they said they'd do?

63 in the UK is quite a large sum

I know of 4 being sold in the Netherlands, not all with Dutch plates I must say.

I was told 88 to Canada. Although I'm not sure I believe it. Thats a lot of GTO's for a country with a pop. of 30Million. The US was aprox. 110 according to my information and this country has 300 million people. So..........?????

The numbers are all over the place. I was told 75-80 in US. 30 or so dealers times 1-4 cars per dealer.

My dealer ended up getting 4. There are 2 dealers in ILL. Have to assume they got 3/4 also.

Mine got 1...but its always been a small player in the scheme of Maranello.

I was told 100-110 to US with 1-4 per dealer; most were to get 2, a few 1 or 3 and a very few 4.

Yours is a major, long time and well regarded player. They deserve 4.

That number makes a lot more sense and feels right. I''m an expat Canadian born in Windsor and lived in the Oakville , Burllington area for most of my life. Next time I come to T.O. I'll drop by and introduce myself.

Then my guess is there will be more than 599 GTO's.

Of course - 1300 F40s when they original said a few hundred, >350 F50s, >400 Enzos. Eventually someone will sue Ferrari I guess.

I have seen 5 down here but I am sure the total number is probably closer to 10 but its a guess.

I remember someone complained about not getting one of the GTO allocations and then later there was one that had not been spoken for yet...

The GTO numbers are similar to the Enzo allocations here.

    1 of 599!!

that means with Ferrari 1 over minimum 599, as for f40's, enzo's, as usual.

No possibilities to control, even to request!

    That's life

The way I understand it, its actually not that easy to establish how many were made due to the seemingly random chassis numbers assigned to cars on the production line.

Which, of course, they do for the obvious reason of making and selling more.

Let me just add a bit of sanity here.

Does anyone have any hard evidence of any kind of Ferrari building MORE than 599 GTO's, besides of course, the antidotal fact that they apparently did so on the Enzo?

I appreciate someone might have been offered an allocation or two later but two points:

There were a few allocations available due to those originally granted being pulled back, ie, death, voluntary (divorce) cancelation, and at least 1 I know of being pulled back by FNA--

And my source--not a bad one I might add--was very clear when I visited with him. 599 period, no exceptions.

Tend to agree, its unlikely that more would have been sold, especially as Classiche Certification is being provided, this being a first on a new Ferrari.

I'd actually forgotten about Certification on the GTO.

Probably because mine has yet to arrive :)
