    Well, I guess so, lol!

    I don't know enough about the cars to call it a fake, but I knew I had never seen a GTO without wire wheels, that was the first thing that struck me.

    After that I realized that something was wrong with the car but I didn't want to post "fake" on this other site (which has an entire sub forum for outing fakes of the genre it is dedicated to) until I had more info.

    Also, I couldn't see someone bringing, what is now a 40+ million dollar car to this event, so, yes, I am going to "chip the paint" a bit on this one.

    The F car wanna be fan boys over there are falling all over themselves over this one.

    But this is the comment by the OP in the thread on the other forum that really makes me want to pick up a nice fist sized rock:

    "Local guy owns it. He's had it about 3 years. There aren't any after-market parts on it."

    "No after market parts," (other than maybe the entire body, interior, lights, etc) drivetrain and frame may be from a sacrificed F car, so the owner is trying to pass it as real 250 GTO.
