GTO software update?

    Lately when I start the GTO, the following flashes up onto the TFT display "update vehicle data", according to the dealer this is rectified by a software update. Has anyone else had this or had the new software update installed?

    Spending time in this monster today one really is reminded what a special car it is, even in baking in 35 degree heat, the cabin is pleasant though I will admit the metal floor does become a bit hot.

    Negative from my side.

    Sometimes I do get a message "gear unavailable" when I select reverse but when that message appears it does physically select reverse.

    Otherwise ... trouble free.

    Ditto so far on "software update" but no issue on Gear Unavailable either.

    However, after my really last hard drive, I "thought'"--for a moment at least--there may have been a slight clutch issue after cool down. Sort of an unusual small jerk at one stop light. Will see if it appears the next time I push it hard. (It was very slight and easily could have just been a false feeling on my part).

    Who knows?

    Interesting you say that,

    I never had that message but a few times when its been cold (below freezing) I've selected R and as I increase revs the car has jumped back to N

    I think these F1 systems are sometimes just like a human when you accidently let out the clutch too quickly or something. I don't have real experience but from my observations that's what I think, afterall, isn't this a Ferrari with a real animate type character? :)

    That never happened to me. Only once did the message appear and I wasn't able to reverse. Putting it in N and selecting 1st gear, driving forward a couple of cm, stop and select reverse cured the problem. But that was only one time.

    All other times the message appears but I can select reverse but it never popped back into N.
