    well dammit! I'm not going to mutilate my $100+ dollar model to open then... that's horse ****. They should have made them removeable.

    I think the next gto lemans, has them removed, or removable. I can live with mine just how it is.

    Certainly it is a very fine model, dare I say the best of the 6 Kyoshos I have... if nothing else, my new favorite :)
