My GTS order is moving along, accepted by factory, but not yet scheduled. I asked my dealer about luggage earlier and received this reply yesterday. I would really like to order some pieces that fit the trunk area well.

Has anyone ordered any of this set?
    Or have any further details?
I don't know what "Modis" is, is that a dealer access only tool?

    Any info appreciated.
    thanks

    This looks awesome!
Is there a similar luggage set one can order for the TDF?

There was a genuine and specific luggage set for the tdf, I ordered it together with my car (trunk and rear shelf). Not sure if it was produced by Schedoni though. Alberto can certainly confirm.

Problem now is that Ferrari does not offer car-specific luggage sets anymore and chose to offer some generic pieces of luggage that you can order for any model. I find this rather disappointing.

On the top of it, ferrari doesn’t seem to indicate what would be the best combination for each model so that you are left with a choice to make, without knowing exactly what will actually fit in the car...

I decided to have a custom made luggage set done by a workshop here in France for my pista spider and will hopefully have another custom set done in Italy by Maieli for my upcoming Gts.

Would be very interested to know if you eventually find a good selection of these pieces that actually fits the truck area well. Please keep us posted!

Coming back to the tdf set I don’t know if it can still be ordered through a dealer but it is worth trying. Otherwise perhaps on the second hand market but I don’t think I ever saw one for sale.

Only speculating now... but on eurospares all specific luggage pieces are replaced by new models; although they retain specific codes for each car type I suspect they are actually the new standardised pieces.
While very old sets (for the testarossa, F40 and so on) were really tailor made, I suspect the more recent ones were rather specific decorations on standard luggage pieces - typically trolleys for the boot and suitcases for the rear bench (for these, there might have been different sizes depending on car types). So maybe the new items retain the same sizes, with a standardised presentation.

Thanks all for replies. One item of note is that the dealer image states these items are specifically for the GTS (I highlighted/underlined that line). So while these pieces look pretty generic, I'd *hope* they are sized to fit the boot! I also note the first item on the order from, LU01, is (*I'd guess*) the set they expect to be popular or one they recommend? But what I really want to know is: which pieces are they talking about?!?

    My guess is, clockwise: suit holder - duffel - 48h - 24h - suitcase - trolley.

Dumb question but can you add after? Took delivery a few months ago but would love to order the trolley.

If you elect to purchase any luggage make sure to ask for the last six of your VIN on it. I ordered my full ttdf set of luggage with this request BUT it wasn't put on my luggage and my complaint fell upon deaf ears with my dealership. For my LaFerrari it was done and I loved it.

Which company makes the luggage? Schedoni?

There may be better choices for a trolley and hand-luggage? Rimowa is very light and durable too. Louis Vuitton is extremely durable and many love the look and the brand name. They will also do ‘custom’ luggage which can be helpful given the particular trunk space dimensions of the GTS. Of course there is no rear parcel shelf in the GTS.

Personally I would try a Rimowa trolley and or custom LV (for the tightest and best fit.)

If that doesn’t work then you can always order the ‘Ferrari ‘ luggage aftermarket —meaning after you get your GTS.

    Congrats on the GTS allocation!

Ordering luggage from Ferrari but not with your car build ends up being priced much higher by Ferrari.

Almost 50-60% more if ordered through a dealer NO VIN number from what I was told....

How about trying something completely different. I might try and go bespoke with Aviteur - this is a new brand by a member of the Gucci family that couldn’t do anything for ten years after the sale of the company. She just started this brand - looks interesting. Haven’t contacted them yet though.

Didn’t know that! Yes I agree that the Schedoni luggage would not be worth double the price. So if Schedoni is what you want definitely order it with the car.

Trolleys, at least for me, have to be great in terms of lightness and rolling balance.
Is a Schedoni trolley better than Rimowa?

The hardware and bullet proof internal structure of an LV piece of luggage is also hard to beat. How does a Schedoni suitcase compare?

For cars that have a rear parcel shelf with leather straps, it would be nice to have fitted luggage that uses PF leather with options such as Ferrari carbon fiber trim (perhaps on the handles and rolling wheels etc) and the ability to incorporate the same contrasting stitching and other style details to match ones interior Not to mention having the right “sleeves “ to accommodate the tie-down straps.

Personally I would get the Schedoni luggage regardless of the price. The superb quality aside, unlike most cars, it will not depreciate (unless maybe you use it a lot and it shows signs of wear).

Current is from Schedoni.......and not only for Ferrari.
the high price is also due to the structure (not visible) made by carbon panels
no any doubts about the quality of Schedoni items.....you can even smell it while you are walking across production

Of course absolutely no doubt about the quality.

Do you know if there is a combination of the luggage pieces available that would perfectly fit the GTS trunk ?

honestly I don’t know which combination better fits to GTS
but Schedoni told me that the new set can be personalized with the interior TM leather.....but I will verify with my dealer
I will keep you posted...otherwise we will ask to Maieli to make two sets in count prestige :)))

Anyone know the volume of the GTS trunk? I saw a demo car at a local dealer. I recall checking out the trunk size. I believe that the GTS has a smaller than its coupe brother

Oh and my Monegasque friend (a former grid girl) reminds me always about her love of all things Hermès. They do custom too.

Image Unavailable, Please Login A funny story. We were there in December, 2019. Simone showed us the luggage they were making for the new RR Cullinan. He said once they made the prototype per RR's specifications, they found it weighed 15 pounds. He said they called RR and told them the luggage was really heavy even without any contents. He said the they replied, not a problem the butler will be carrying it! :D

These guys also claimed to be preparing a custom fit set for the GTS, they do have a set for 812SF: https://www.roadsterbag.com/
    I know nothing about them.
