I want to swap the thicker GTS rear sway bar onto my '77 GTB.
The question is where to find one.
    Any suggestions?

    As always, thanks in advance!

Talk to New England Fchat section Verell, he may have one and/or be offering a new and much better front and rear sway bar setup.

I"m not ready to offer them yet, maybe in a few months tho.

Meanwhile, search the sticky threads at the top of this section for places that part out 3x8s. eg: TRutlands, George Evans, GT Car Parts...
They & Ricambi also can get you new OEM ones for a small phenomenal fee of course. ;)

The anti-roll bars I got made by Saner Performance are really good, and made a noticeable difference in flattening the car around aggressive turns. Unfortunately, John Carlson at Saner has been unreachable. It would be good to have an alternative.

You can see my setup at http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39712

The early photos were lost in the server crash but are reposted later in the thread.

Just to let it be known. As of this last track day weekend, I am in the market for uprated front and rear swaybars. So I'll keep an eye here, and post any other sources or info I get.

Verrell & Steven, What happened to the Saner bars from the 308 track car, still avail ??

The 308 is no longer here, am focussing on my Formula 2000 and higher 'career.' Verell may be offering uprated bars soon. They are VERY MUCH worth every penny plus they are adjustable and super easy to install. The difference in not subtle and you'll wonder how you ever lived without them.

    I want another set too.

If no one comes up with anything I'll makes these. I've got the Saners to copy so it'll be pretty easy. I'm just swamped for a couple months so no way it's happening any time soon. If anyone comes up with anyting count me in.

Curious, if I make something, everyone okay with the way Saner did the drop links or would people prefer the stock F car approach? Personally I did not want to use these pieces and I wanted the adjustablity . . . people have different reasons for doing things though i.e. might want factory look? Plated or painted?

    Thanks,

    Sean

I would like a set of sway bars too if someone is thinking of making up a batch.

put me on the list too.
Loved the Saners, wish I still had a set. Didn't like the links as much as the factory set-up, but it's do-able.

Cool guys . .. I chatted with John yesterday and he's going to make me a few sets.

I told him 5 sets . .. is that enough?

    PM me if you're serious.

We're thinking of doing them black this time, they will include the necessary collars to stop lateral motion and will have grease fittings on the mounts.

I paid $600 for mine before and made the collars myself. How much did you guys pay that have a set? I didn't have any shipping 'cause I picked 'em up so don't know what shipping cost is.

4-6 week lead time and I can probably get him to drop ship for you guys on the east coast.

I also made some spacers to make everything line up better . .. to people who installed them-did you need spacers or any washers for alignment? Drop link lengths seemed okay? Seemed a little short to me . . had a little inteference on the real lower control arm so had to unscrew them a bit . . . still enough thread engagement but any less could be problamatic.

    Sean

edit: BTW this is both front and rear swaybars
