    I’ve heard some GTS cars had vinyl bags for the roof to go in, which then attached to the firewall; does anyone have this and, if so, what does it fasten to on the firewall? Mine (83 QV) has the cover that clips to the top and bottom of the firewall.

    Thanks, that's the vinyl cover version which I also have. Does anyone's car come with a bag for the roof to fit into (which zips up) and which then apparently hooks on to the firewall?

    Sorry. My mistake. This was from my '89 GTS. I had an '88.5 a number of years ago and it had the same cover as in the photo I took. Mike
