Hello all Is there any guidance on removing the interior roof lining on a GTS Targa roof. Is the retaining section clipped in or screwed in. Can't find any diagrams or information searching this forum TIA.
Its just glued in the two panels and makes a mess on removal as the foam backing is left still attached to the inner skin of the roof. I used Goo Gone (plenty of it) and a plastic scrapper to remove the remaining glue and foam. See photos below from a 348 roof I stripped and later had the inserts re covered in tan leather. Can you advise on how the large plastic surround in picture #2 is removed? Clipped or screwed in place. TIA
