Maybe if you posted an actual picture of the car, but that "artists impression" is not much help. That said I'm sure I've seen a pic of it recently just can't find it again.
The shields on the hubcaps probably gave it away :D

Maybe my "obscure car" is tough to identify, but I have several books here in my library that mention it, so I wasn't trying to cheat. The picture came from International Auto Parade #2, and is apparently a hand-tinted version of a B&W picture I have seen in other books. I can't find any other pictures of the car right off hand. The company made cars from 1954 until as recently as 1976, from what I have read. I'll identify it if requested to do so.

Found it, knew I'd seen it recently

    Fairthorpe Atomota 646cc made from 1958 - 1960

And that seems to be the only photo in existence

    She's an Abarth OT1300 or OT2000, I think.

By the way, congrats on the Fairthorpe identity!! You the man!

Which is why I erased the "prince" from the first photo, too easy otherwise. It's the R380-I, you're probably thinking of the R380-II (attached pic)

That's the "Red Devil" Fiat 8V Vignale from about 1955.

I'm too busy to post another one right now, sorry.
