Maybe if you posted an actual picture of the car, but that "artists impression" is not much help. That said I'm sure I've seen a pic of it recently just can't find it again. The shields on the hubcaps probably gave it away
Maybe my "obscure car" is tough to identify, but I have several books here in my library that mention it, so I wasn't trying to cheat. The picture came from International Auto Parade #2, and is apparently a hand-tinted version of a B&W picture I have seen in other books. I can't find any other pictures of the car right off hand. The company made cars from 1954 until as recently as 1976, from what I have read. I'll identify it if requested to do so.
Found it, knew I'd seen it recently Fairthorpe Atomota 646cc made from 1958 - 1960 And that seems to be the only photo in existence
She's an Abarth OT1300 or OT2000, I think. By the way, congrats on the Fairthorpe identity!! You the man!
Can you give an other view, the rear perhaps ? Some help is needed, i'm searching the web but i can't find it. And apparently i'm not the only one
Ok here's some more pics, Major top ten current manufacturer. If that doesn't help I'll post another clue later.
Which is why I erased the "prince" from the first photo, too easy otherwise. It's the R380-I, you're probably thinking of the R380-II (attached pic)
Nissan was found in the Toyota Automobile museum in Japan looks like an interesting place to visit. http://www.toyota.co.jp/Museum/data_e/d02_01.html
I thought it was a toyota and therefore searched the web in that direction. So after all i was not that far off So time for a new one !!
That's the "Red Devil" Fiat 8V Vignale from about 1955. I'm too busy to post another one right now, sorry.
Woow, what's this ? Sometimes it takes a few days, weeks to find and now it's allready been solved before i even saw it
