Sorry about that, so just for you here's an easy one :D

(BTW my names not Bob. I know my my user name is somewhat confusing to those that were not part of the British empire and had to endure the lovely currency system of £.s.d. :D)

The one I posted is a Genie Mk. 8, modified by Huffaker to take a Ford 289 motor.

The red car is a Siata 1100. Love those cars.

A Siata or a Doretti Swallow? (I don't really have a clue, I just know that those are two smaller Italian cars that resemble that one.)

I don't actually have one of my own, so I stole one from "somewhere". It remains unidentified.

Nitpicking department: Horsefly, the Doretti Swallow (or more properly, the Swallow Doretti) isn't an Italian car (see post 311), it's totally British. I suppose it does look a little like a Siata. And on the subject of the Siata, is it possible to tell from the posted picture if that is actually an 1100, or if it's a 750, or a Crosley-engined example? I don't know how to tell...

I don't have a clue on the latest one, but I have a feeling it isn't a Ferrari.

Jeff, I don't even know anything about a Siata or a Doretti Swallow. The only reason I remember the Siata is after seeing an article in some old Road & Track magazine. And I saw a guy at a local swap meet who had a sign saying that he was looking for Doretti Swallow parts. Apparently he had one at home.

As for the mystery car, apparently it was not a Ferrari. Of course if we don't know what it IS, then how can we say what it IS NOT. It had an aluminum body and was originally right hand drive. That's about all that was known. I don't think that anybody ever came up with a firm identification. But it looks "Ferrari-esque".

Here's a little reverse obscure car guessing game. What was the race car or maybe prototype fron the 1970s that had 2 front axles and 4 front wheels?

I cannot remember what it was for anything.

You must mean this contraption, the Tyrrell-Ford P34, seen here with Jody Scheckter at the wheel. Picture from the front dust jacket of Automobile Year #24, 1976-77.

This one shouldn't be too difficult. I remember seeing one of these for sale in the Seattle Times, many years ago. Way more money than I had. Wonder what became of it?

    Hai Karate, maybe?
And don't forget the Hesketh with 2 rear axles and one front, at least the tyrell was a better race car. And what street car had similar set-up to tyrell as bonus f/u to last pick, also had hybrid drivetrain...
