Aw, that's cold. Still one of my favorite stylings from the 80's; I think my love for them inspired my love for the 944 turbo!

Ok - so it ended up being one of the few cars built in the 80's that hadn't lost the ultra-edgy body angles. My dad actually test drove one of these, but I don't recall the hood scoop. It seems that most didn't have it based on a Google image search. I was acutally thinking it was American when I made the '70's comment. Oh well - you got me. >8^) ER

I believe it was unique to the 88-89 cars but my memory could be failing me. Hmm, seems i'm wrong, I don't know then, I remember a number of them with and without...edit again - it was 87 only for the scoop.
