Yeah, I figured something like that happened when I was trying to figure out what happened. Eitherway, its obviously an Alfa, does that car have any visual modifications? I want to say a Giulia Spider, but it just doesn't seem right. A Giulia 1600 Spider Veloce? edit: I see I was too late, and wrong. oh well. edit: No I wasn't, nor wrong.. yet. NNO your ****ing with my head...
Gettin' much closer. It is one of the 'etceterinis'. In fact, your original guess was VERY close because there were a couple of these cars bodied by Devin...
Ok here's another shot, but I fear it's a giveaway. BTW that was my son "driving" in the first pic! Mark
Nardi Danese, my guess Actually Gilco 1100, you stinkweed... I wondered abt tailpipe, checked, found it. Just for that Wayne... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bill, I've been following those exact same two trails for some time now and can't find a single photo of a matching car. By the way, Lee, good job on the Gilco!
It has Cord styling cues, but I've never seen one exactly like that. Kinda like a Ferrari-Fiero. Ab Jenkins drove a Cord at Bonneville to publicize the introduction. Time to hit my library...
Got me stumped. I've been searching Bonneville, Rodgers Lake, Cord and even Pierce Arrow. Actually the radiator shell looks a little like a Hupmobile Skylark, but that's a dead end too. Hmmmm. Mark
The grille area on a standard Cord is more upright than the one in this picture. Graham built cars based on the Cord after A-C-D went under, but I don't believe this is one of those. Is it?
Nope. Not a Graham or Hupmobile, both of which used Cord base. Grille/nose is much narrower than Cord anyway. This'll teach Wayne for the Gilco
The most devastatingly accurate collision of a CdV and a Miata I have ever seen...Prolly same guy who parked the 550 on the roof in this thread...http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14044
