Otto Vu?No, nothing that cool.
I can't get it. Not that I'm good at this lol, I was thinking ex-Vorhees Siata-Fiat 1400, but it's just not the same shape, and those wheels are really throwing me off. Can't think of any OSCA either, or special bodied Etceterini. Tapped out
Marzotto Fiat? Based on zero research, just wfg. Lumpy like Marzotto. I initially thought Simca something but same country r/o Raviola Barchetta on market, misshapen, but not this lumpy. Is there another forum? LOL PS, I've seen it somewhere. Lost in swirls of chemo.
Had to follow all the hints and close calls, came up with this, however in Wayne's photo, you can't see the tapered rear body. Fiat 500 Sport Zanussi
I thought this was a one off chop the top off by an unknown artisan, but I guess with the shorter hood and the cowl louvers it would've required the coachbuilders involvement. I am ill prepared to post anything exotic so I've cropped an easy one which Wayne will recognize in a nano-second, but may take the rest of you 20 seconds or so... Image Unavailable, Please Login
No guesses yet? I guess I cropped the pic a little too much! Hints: Fiberglass GT kammback American engine Italian transaxle 3 were built
2 were homologated for racing. 1st race (DNF) driver David Hobbs. Car pictured is a debut photo at a show.
Got it!!! A Lincoln Mk.6!!11!! Here's a sister car. Toggie, thanks for the motor tip. I didn't know these used Cortina TL. PS. Honest to gawd. I knew what it was. Could not remember name. AT.ALL. I had to do goofy search for the successor car. I. hate. chemo. brain. Cool car without all the Texan added carp. PS Hi Is. Missed ya. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like it, except for the Chevy engine transplant! In fact, in 1964 (at the ripe old age of 12) I built a replica of it, of which I am still the caretaker. 1/24th scale. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cool build. What'd you use as body? Monogram had 1/32, but no 1/24 plastic. Always surprised me nobody did 1/24 kit. Spoken as someone with well north of 1200 1/24-1/25 kits in various states on the property. Oops. OK, looked at chassis. Slotcar. Vac-form?
Hey there Sfu! Hope you're felling better and nice to have you back. HO scale too, the brood at home raced it against a Batmobile religiously.
