Well, I don't know that it does either. I just assumed it reset after every day. Does anyone know for sure? Andrew.
If PAP wins, I'm going to file an official protest because his entry did not meet the specific instructions! -- just kidding I would like Art to explain his guess -- is the world/internet/FChat going to crash for 5 months?
good our title sponsor was optimistic though. unique visit is mostly by day, if you logged in from home and then work it would count twice. I can see how many users logged in each day, but that doesnt count guests and unique visits does.
I'm thinking late April 30th right now. Late March and April we usually get good growth and that may bump it back towards April 28th though.
Hmmm... so it looks like it'll be between Rob, myself, and Ian. I fancy my chances. All the best, Andrew.
I go and post an updated outlook and then yesterday we go up over 18k unique visits that ruins that. If that maintains you could even see a 27th.
I think Rob and I are using similar estimators. My adjusted prediction is now 4/29 at 7:00AM CST; a lot closer to his than to mine. Edit: BTW - The midpoint between his prediction and mine is 4/28 at 1:35AM CST.
My latest calc is an early May 1st, which would be Fast_ian. Because of the distribution in guesses I would say Fast_ian has it 75% locked up. The 25% would be if an Enzo crashes, the server crashes, or maybe a few FNA dealerships next week start unveiling the 458 in person.
Yeah baby! What do I win?!...... I'm not that confident though - Maybe a little more than 50%, but we're definitely getting close. Rob, without admin rights (I presume?), I can't drill down in the stats table - Is there a "significant" spike in visits when, eg, an Enzo crashes or a new car is launched? I guess the infamous "kid pi$$es on Spider and posts video" thread caused a jump (and you to get on NPR IIRC!), but can you correlate significant events and visits in general? Cheers, Ian
