Looks like a Toyota Tercel to me with BMW grafted rear lights and bumper.

Not to mention 355-ish side intakes.

Bangle has screwed up the entire 7 and 5 series lines. Why not add a piece of **** van to the line up.

I thought they canned that maniac? Or was that just wishful thinking leading to a rumour.

You forgot the Z4, the X3 and the 6 series. The 6 is the worst I think, it redefines "horribly ugly", then followed by the 7 and the X3.

Yes, they did indeed promote the guy, to a position where he cannot do any more harm I assume. I wonder how much his horrid "designs" have cost BMW.

So he's actually out of the design department? Thank goodness. I would suggest head of landscaping and groundskeeping as his next role. He can exercise his "creativity" on the hedges and flower gardens at head office.

He has emasculated a great marque (imho - no offence to owners of his work).

Interesting question about his effect on sales. I wonder if it's possible to quantify that? I think the Z4 is selling like mad (!) but 5 and 7? The 6 is a train wreck of a design; the 6 cabrio is nauseating. Even if sales are flat or slightly lower, I assume they would explain it as economy, war etc.

One of the best pics I have ever seen. Can I save it?
