Hello I 'm maybe not in the right section but maybe somebody can help me here in my search of a friend old racing cars I only miss one and somebody told me that Mr Lucchini used to own it (in a trade with a Lamborghini Miura ) so I want to contact him to verified this if somebody can help me message of course in PM . best regards
Thank you for the advise I send a PM to Mr Massini but no reply yet a friend of mine told me that he has a lot of work and also a lot of this questions and that he did not always reply so if somebody else know Mr Lucchini but don't want to give me his personnal informations you can also ask him to contact me or I will send you a PM with what I want to ask . thanks
I think Marcel will always treat contact infos of all this important -and very wealthy- collectors as very confidential - and he is right! Perhaps you can convince Marcel to forward your message to Signor Lucchini... Ciao! Walter
Maybe the way I said it was misinterpreted or that I didn't express myself in the good way I just want to find out if the story I was told is true or not and what chassis number the car was if Mr Massini or somebody else has the possibility to ask this to Mr Lucchini without sending me his private contact information its fine by me ,with the daughter of my friend we find 4 of the 5 compétion cars he raced we just missed the TZ1 . If somebody is an Alfa Roméo expert with data's about TZ1's and who can link a car to Dantinne or Ennio Gianarolli its ok too. best regards
Hi, you could try it via BMS Scuderia Italia Contact They might be in the position to forward your question. Kind regards Manfred
According to the Alfa Romeo Zagato Register, Giuseppe Lucchini owned and raced T-1 chassis AR10511.750067 from 1984-86. He purchased this car from Sandro Munari and sold it to Peter Sachs. Around the same time, Luccini also owned and raced TZ-1 AR10511.750103. In 2008, he purchased TZ-2 AR10511.750110. I hope this is helpful. I'm also moving this to the "Other Italian" forum where it's more likely to attract the attention of Alfa Romeo afficianados (while leaving a redirect in "Vintage").
Thank you El Wayne it's what I also found about Mr Lucchini 's ownership on TZ but I don't think its one of this 3 cars ,#067 was in Italy from 1964 to 1981,#103 was still racing in Italy in 1965/66 and was silver and #110 is a TZ 2 until now my biggest challenger is 750003 because when my friend bought the car in 1965 it was dark green (he have color pictures but could be repaint before )he had a crash with the car and the car was repainted red ,003 has a time gap in his history between 1965 and 2004 (the car I'm looking for was at least in Belgium from 1965 to 1975)on pictures send by the owner from 1975 there is an opening on the bonnet (what was not the case from 1965 to 1968) and 003 was found in Italy . There is a picture in Phillipe Olczyk' book about this TZ but no vin and also a picture from 1975 in Dr Paul Schouwenburg's book'' Ferrari Fever '' (p 297) but no vin there too ,in 1975 after the car was sold it was red with 2 yellow stripes on the back of the car . When talking about ownership the history of a car is not always complete Dantinne used to owned Ferrari 365 GTB/4 gr4 # 16717 but this is never written in any book or website for this car ,the only race of this car is always the 1975 24 hours of le Mans but this is not the case Dantinne raced the car 45 times between 1976 and 1978 . In the hope of finding this missing TZ thanks
Actually, RacingSportsCars.com (probably the most popular website for racing history by either driver or car) lists an extensive race history for Mr. Dantinne and 16717 from 1976-77: Chassis 16717 [365 GTB/4] - All Results - Racing Sports Cars Driver Maurice Dantinne - All Results - Racing Sports Cars
