My '85 single high mirror car sat for 6 months. In which time, the old fuel reduced to gum in the k-jet fuel distributors. The pistons with the tiny slots, at least on one side, appear to be plugged. Any tricks for cleaning without disassembly? A little solvent flushed into the lines?

drain all the old fuel and fill in new with additional injection cleaner. sometimes this help.
the more you drive the more it will get cleaner

I once had a car here standing nearly 2,5 years and it fired up as soon as I started without any problems
an othr car not standing 6 month made problems

Thanks. Everything is clean or new all the way to the fuel distributor heads. Just gotta get that nastiness from the little slots.

    Hi Rick,

I cannot contribute the tiniest thing, but always happy to 'meet' or 'hear' Fchat buddies from the first hours yet again.

    Best
