Enjoy the Pulling Power coverage. I'm afraid I make a few too many appearances in it. The Fat, annoying, balding ginger northern tosser, next to the Red Lotus, is me. Sorry if I make anyone ill!

At least I have Ferrari Power this year!

    One last plug!

Guys, Go the DVD and watched the movie. I thought it was great. Its better then the Cannonball Run Europe. Being a Yank myself I thought the Cops seemed alright in the movie. The F50 looked good on the circuit.
It seems you need a lot of money for the rally with all the fines etc. The english blonde in the lambo murci was cool. She could handle the car well.

Kenyon and mod 500, the vids will be ready by friday, then i will mailyou. By the way kenyon i think when you see the coverage of the euro cannonball that is on the vidio you will see it is better presented. The vidio has on it in this order. #1 US gumball( different from gumball the movie) #2 Rev Bob euro coverage, #3 Pulling power gumball coverage, and #4 Cannonball euro coverage (the best).

Yes mate you have the one in the usa and the one that started in london. All cars were taken by Russan plane to main land europe.Very funny scene when the plane lands in Spain and two 355 spiders race up the landing strip when theplanes want to land. Both are run by Max amillian.

    There is only ONE Gumball!!!!

The Cannonball is a totally seperate event not run by Maximilion Cooper or the Gumball guys!

Gumball is either in Europe or the USA (2003,2004). This year we are back in Europe.

Is it worth forking out the £5-8,000 entry fee then taking an Elise along?

Don't get me wrong, the Elise is an almighty track car and has shown many companies what a real sports car is about but it's still far from the ideal Gumball motor, maybe because the entry fee costs approx. 1/4 of the car's value...;)

    Good point that.....

As it turned out, we took what was probably the best choice, for last year!

The Elise had never been sold in the States, and so we attracted a ridiculous amount of attention.

In a long line of Ferraris and Porsches, we always attracted as much, if not more attention, due to the rarity of the Lotus.....People had seen the 360 and the 355 before, but no one had seen an Elise!

I entered the Gumball last year as a once in a lifetime experience. As it turns out, I have now been able to get my first Ferrari, and am entering again.....

Not everyone can say they have done it, and certainly not doing as many interviews as I did for CNN, FOX, ABC and various local radio and TV stations.

At the same time, the Lotus was my first sports car. And still sits next to my Ferrari, at home. A great car....And in my opinion, well worth flying the British Flag with....

Many people have commented that it will be missed this year....Anyone else mental enough to drive 3500 miles in 6 days in a car with no suspension, uncomfortable seats and NO AIR CON!!!!! Through the desert too!

The Elise is, without doubt, one of the greatest British Sportscars of all time. Not everyone can afford to own a Ferrari. I couldn't last year....But I owe my little Elise a lot. That is why it has not left the family....

With a top speed of 125mph ish, it kept us out of too much trouble too. We usually finished in the top 30...Well ahead of many of the Ferraris. My F355 has a lot to live up too...

Gumball do a deal with Maersk Shipping. It cost me about £2300 all together , including Insurance. Sending to San Francisco and shipping back from Miami. I was without the car for a month on the way out, and 2-3 weeks on the way back!
Easy this year, just get the tunnel to Paris!
