    Hi all,
I'm a British Ferrari Fan looking for some support across the globe.

I've entered the 2008 Gumball Rally, however my chosen horse, an F40, won't be ready for the Rally this August. I've missed the deadline to import another car into China, so will be splitting the rally into two legs. First Leg is in the USA, and the second leg is China. I'm now looking for somebody who would like to get involved in the rally without the £60,000 entry fee.

    My credentials are as follows:
Ferrari Owners Club member since 1999 (when I bought my first horse, an F355GTS, e bella)
Ferrari Owners Club Area Group Organiser in the UK since 2006
Pirelli Ferrari formula Classic Pilot from 2002 - 2005
Pirelli Ferrari Open Pilot, Speciale Class from 2006 - 2008
    Gumball3000 Pilot - 2005 - 288GTO Recreation.

    Details are at www.tristec-racing.co.uk
also for the racing series checkout www.ferrariownersclub.co.uk

Let me know if you can help.
    Ciao,

    Tris

Isn't it pretty expensive to do that (say the entry fee is $60,000 the fee for a passenger is $30,000 or something like that?)

last I heard it was £60k ($120k) for new Gumballers £50k ($100k) for previous Gumballers, may have been cut since they seemed to have a hard time filling al 120 slots

Yeah but I'm talking about the fee just to be a passenger. I think it's half of the price of a driver but still a ridiculous amount of money.

I wouldn't let the entry prices stop you from turning up. The £120,000 is for a car (including 2 people) The additional passenger cost is for a 3rd or 4th member. It's a great sight and they always put on a show. If you have a car that is worth sitting on the grid, then I'm keen to hear from you. PM if you can.

The USA leg is from San Francisco to Los Vegas via LA and San Diego. I've driven around San Diego and LA before (when I bought my 288GTO Recreation) about 5 years ago. I'm really looking forward to returning.

    Cheers,
    Tris
