GUN SAFETY 101

When I watch that it makes me think that it was all setup to scare the kids even more and get them thinking "hey if this guy can get shot while doing it so can I." He doesn't even flinch when the bullet goes in. And play it off like it was nothing. I've even seen someone get shot with something as little as a .22 in the foot and he still showed the pain.

 

What a dumb f'er! I liked it when he pretends it didn't hurt by trying to proceed with the lecture. And...breaking news...another dumb a@# took himself out last night in an outlying Central Florida town of Apopka (hey, 400iGuy)...by imitating the Russian Roulette scene in Man On Fire he was watching on HBO.

I'd feel like a total moron if I were him, I wouldn't even know what to say. I like the way he tried to make it lesson after the gun went off.

They would never allow that in a school. The slightest risk of it deflecting is enough for them to say no. Unless it was a fake, which it wasn't. I'm surprised too he could hold the pain in. Unless he just got hit in the leg by the kickback or it grazed him.

 

What I'm saying is is that they might have used a blank. Then there would not be any real risk to teh kids except mild ear damage. And that problem could be taken care of by using a lighter loud that usual.

 

I think that he means the scene where denzel trys to kill himself, pulls the trigger, but its a faulty bullet, the whole "a bullet dosen't lie" thing

 

Not true. We did school demos with uniformed officers all the time. And when in uniform, the weapons were loaded.
