Smokey Mountain Guns (often have good IWI inventory). SHTF Tactical Palmetto State Good places to check for an Ace.
Everyone should own at least one (or five) SKS's. Hopefully you got one when they were cheap. I can still recall when gun shops had 55 gal barrels of them, used from China for $99. Some had beat up wood stocks, some fiberglass...no bayonets, due to import restrictions. Stuffed full of cosmoline...but clean em up and they all cycled and went "bang". No more imports from China thanks to Clinton, but for old time's sake, I bought one 5 years ago for $300...they were used, recently imported battle field pick ups from some Baltic state. Chinese, and with carvings in the stocks and occasionally a non matching serial numbered part, but they had blade bayonets. Apparently you can import Chinese military arms if you can prove they were in another country for a few decades...and not just washed through to circumvent import laws. Had a fun evening cleaning it up...it was packed full of cosmoline...everywhere...had to detail strip it.
Mine is Russian and was new. it was pretty cheap. Is shockingly accurate at 100 if you can use the really crappy sights. Have a few 15s which at the very best I am luke warm on. To me just toys at best. I would hate to have to count on one. and always wanted an AK. About the same time, may have been same law we were mad because it cut off the supply of M14 parts from Austalia. At the time it was the best source of quality parts. Now they're all coming out of China. Makes a great deal of sense. Cannot buy gun parts from a great ally, but its OK to buy them from an enemy.
Yup, I have a couple Russians too, one laminated, one standard wood stock. They are really nice. I have a bunch of other SKS variants too....bunch of AKs too...have a Maadi imported by Steyer back in the 80s I think.
I didn't post but I thought this was the silver thread since it has the same title. I can edit this one if that's helpful.
No need to edit, I just don't want all the guns I'm selling to get lost on the page because of all the other posts.

Looking to get a 12.5” 7.62x39 upper for my CMMG mutant. Is the best route going directly to CMMG? I paid less for the whole setup then they want for the upper
Nice collection. The Vietnamese produced rifle is scarce and expensive. The side of the receiver has a star.
Robbie, sent you a conversation about radio knob question. If you can reply it'd be great. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
