    Hello,

    Sometimes the search function doesn't work if the original threads were titled with odd words, it happens.

    Anyway, when this happened it was all over every car/bike/truck/chat forum on teh intarweb - and then it popped up in the US media news for a few seconds of fame. So yes, this is a repost. Sorry.

    I haven't heard if the prosecution of the driver was successful...

    I thought that it was a modded Gallardo that did 219, I didn't think it was an LP640.

    I know who it was. He posts on our industry forum. Don't think anything ever happened to him. He ordered a Bugatti, so I'm awaiting his 250 mph run.

    The original post on youtube had great sound quality from the roadside cameras - what a howl!

    Wonder if they taught him NOT to drive over 200MPH on a public highway?

    What an experience though! Wow. Must be amazing to be able to buy a car like that and visit the factory like he did.

    No, I meant the Bugatti driving lesson :) I was being a smart ass. I'm not surprised he got away with the Lambo, they never had any clear evidence that he was actually driving the car in the video. Any half witted lawyer could have that case thrown out in seconds.

    I decided to get the 2 year extended warranty for 50,000E/$78,750 (the base warranty is only 2 years). I really liked the Sang Noir/Pur Sang wheels (they look more "space age") over the standard Bugatti wheels, so I selected that as an option as well (another 50,000E!)

    $78K USD for a cosmetic wheel upgrade on a motorcar. The Bug salesmen... they're GOOD.
