After 4 years of working hard and hard, getting picked on for doing my work and taking it seriously, after breaking up with my girlfriend after 2 years, after talking to her best friend the next day (Kidding...or am i :D)...

I'm Valedictorian of my class!!!....Haha...I'm so excited, I made a whole MIT thread awhile back and just wanted to announce this with yall!!

Out of 100+ students...Yippee!! It finally paid off...from the background i come from, I'm so blessed...Thanks God!!!

I know it might be a dumb question, but it does really help my application, correct? Do i have a better chance of getting into the school i want to get into?

haha...I'm so excited, I just wanted to tell yall!!

It absolutely helps. Something like that will never hurt you. And no one can ever take it away from you.

If your friends give you slack about working hard, they arent your friends.

John C. speaks the truth. Oh, and speaking of friends, let's grab a beer sometime soon, John, now that I live in Joysey too (well, when I get over the flu, that is, and when you can get all of 5 minutes away from the new baby. Regards to Jen. And sorry for the minor thread hijack.)

That is a huge accomplishment! Serious bragging rights. Strength you will have through thick & thin, the rest of your life. You have the stuff to make it when you put your mind to it. Graduating from this college gives you the papers but also the faith in yourself to go far. Well done FERRARIKID!

How about an additional 20 bucks if you can work the phrase "you got the world by the nutz" :)

Seriously, gongratz!! In high school I was glad to finish in the top 50% of my class. I got my act together in college, at least the second time around...it is a whole lot easier to get good grades when you don't show up to the lectures drunk with a 32 oz cup full of beer...that's $2 worth of free information for you for next year :)

Probably a couple of months for MIT. I applied regular decision since i needed to take Subject Test again.

Right now my top 10 schools that i applied to are:
Stanford, MIT, University of Michigan, Notre Dame, UT Austin, University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign, Georgia Tech, University of Pennsylvania, USC, Cal tech...and maybe a couple of other schools.

I qualify for fee waivers so im taking advantage of it.

The next thing for me to worry about since applications are pretty much done with, are SCHOLARSHIPS!!! AH.....The money.

Please, sir, the correct way to say it is "you have the world by the nutz".

I made sure to use proper sentence structure. He is valedictorian, after all. :)
