In all fairness to Remo, his Ferrari service department is one of the best. David Webb the service manager, deals with his clients with the utmost in honesty and does his best to make sure everybody gets their Ferrari serviced properly. The Technicians work closely together with FNA and everybody is kept up to date on any updates or service bulletins and some attend regular factory training. They have all of the latest in tools and technology (computers, software, etc..) to service all of the newer models. I have read on many threads that some of the unauthorized F Shops around Toronto do good work on many older models but I would recommend to anyone with anything newer than a 348, to bring it to Ferrari of Ontario for service.

I will agree that David Web is a nice guy. I have spoken to him on a number of occations. But I will tell you that the price fixing that goes on at Ferrari Of Ontario is boarder line criminal. I have many times had to redo quotes for customers that have brought their cars there for service, and have been over charged by almost 100% in some cases. And each time a correct quote is given from a different Ferrari dealer, Ferrari of Ontario backs down and adjusts their prices accrodingly. Yes they seem to do alright with the newer stuff..only because they are the dealer with all the computers and such needed to service the F1 equiped cars. But that is going to change in the near future once I recive my SD3.

I'm not knocking the servcie guys at all. In fact I'm quite sure they have some good guys working there. It is the behined scences dishounesty and price fixing that is the real shame of the entire company. I have not once heard a good thing about FoO relateing to there customer service..except until your post. If you are happy with them..then you are indeed a lucky one, and by all means continue to go were you are happy and treated well. But just be prepaired for the big let down. It happends alot. Ever wonder why the turn around is so high at FoO? It anit because its a nice place to work thats for sure.

First of all, from now on, you shall address Tom as Mr. Tabowsky, and you WILL show respect for any seasoned F-Chatter!

Second, if you got balls, you're going to fill out your profile properly (and truthfully) and either get a Silver or Rossa subscription, especially if you're going to start throwing sh*t around on your first post.

Be advised, the Ferrari circle (especially in Canada) is very small, so tread lightly.

As for Remo, the horror stories from FoO have been posted on F-chat before, and like they say, where there's smoke there's fire.

    And finally....

He really should be taking that bath afterwards, don't you think? I guess it's just another example of rampant intelligence...

True, but who the hell cares for people like this. They come and go. Don't even fill out their profile....nothing. Welcome to the "internet courage".

Tom knows better than to get stressed out with people like this.

As for Remo, I have mentionned once before that I worked for him. I personally had a good relationaship with him (Up until he made fun of me when Portugal lost the Euro cup in 2000). :)

But I am sure their is some truth to all these negative comments that have been posted here.

Oh well, as Steve Maman says......once we meet the guy then we can really talk.

That's what Luigi once told me, and I try to apply it to everything in life. It substantially lightens the load-of-life.
