you can get the ride height you are looking for in those pictures.. by adjusting the collars down on the stock suspension.. you dont need the springs..

however the H&R springs are shorter.. so you can have a drop to the car, without adjusting the collars on the coilovers..

the yellow 355 in the second pick is dropped with stock suspension only.. no springs..

however keep in mind. both those cars have 19" rims on.. so they fill in the wheel gap more..

to get a flush look with the stock 18" rims on.. the car would almost be on the floor..

Ive got h&r on my car with the collars lowered as well, car is very low, almost too low. The middle of the car scrapes on occasion if I'm not careful.

I've got H&R on mine (see pics in profile). Front is set with collar all the way up, rear is set to match (around half way).

The car at factory ride height only has 4.2" of ground clearance and you want to set it down to 2.9" ? Where do you find the billiard table smooth roads to drive?

I was not aware that they make more than one model for the f355.

+1. I had the stock suspension, but the front springs took a set, and I was sitting +2cm low in front...the front bumper skid plates I installed took a beating, as did the center diffuser under the car. I got everything repaired, and had the front raised back to stock height, right out of the owners manual...never scrapped again....but it did look like it was riding high. ;)

Mines lowered on stock springs and I've never scrapped anywhere, never plan on it. It does mean i have to avoid certain businesses and gas stations however.

Even a lowered 355 is still higher then my stock z06 was.

Still hanging around the F355 forum Fred? ;) I've got your skid plates in my living room (will fit them eventually) and they are untouched!
