Steiner has no need for Toto and Toto has a life. Its certain Steiner as an adult needs little 'coaching' to file a court case. Usually would involve a lawyer assessing this situation and offering options.
Haas suing Steiner over alleged “Surviving to Drive” infringements Haas Automation, the parent company sponsor of its Formula 1 outfit, is now suing former team boss Guenther Steiner for alleged trademark infringements in his “Surviving to Drive” autobiography.
Im guessing Gene didnt authorize enough money LOL Hulkenberg: Komatsu "gave everything" to keep me at Haas in F1 2025 Nico Hulkenberg says new Haas principal Ayao Komatsu “fought” and “gave everything” in his bid to keep him at the American Formula 1 team in 2025.
Guenther Steiner’s dig as Haas suffer double DSQ from Monaco qualifying Steiner, posting on his Instagram story after the news broke, could not resist a little dig. “Does anybody want to borrow my tape measure?” he wrote Image Unavailable, Please Login
Haas have said it is “business as usual” on the Formula 1 front after the announcement that the Stewart-Haas Racing organisation will close at the end of the 2024 NASCAR season.
Haas entered F1 to advertise his machine tool business worldwide. I think that was a profitable intitiative, so no reason to stop it.
Unfortunately the car drives as if it is hauling one of Haas' CNC machining centers. Hulk made the right call.
Maybe, but as a billboard, it doesn't matter if a car is first or last; it gets (more or less) the same exposure. During a GP, the name HAAS is pronounced worldwide many times, which is the goal of advertising. I didn't know anything about Gene Haas' CNC machine tools before they appeared on the grid in F1. There must be millions like me.
Another non secret reveal lol Ferrari junior Bearman announced as Haas F1 driver for 2025 Ferrari young driver Oliver Bearman secures Haas F1 contract for 2025 ahead of home British Grand Prix
I would have prefered Ferrari to recruit Bearman alongside Leclerc, instead of "you know who". But Ferrari doesn' like taking risks anymore like it did in the past.
Yep, once he figured out how to harvest and use the ERS, he was catching up Leclerc towards the end of the race. Not too shabby for the 1st time in an F1 car and scored points as well.
One silver lining is that when "you know who" will retire from Ferrari after two, three years tops, guess who will be ripe for that seat PS: France's very respected racing weekly magazine and website Auto Hebdo also thinks the same is quite possible: A career path/plan like Leclerc? https://www.autohebdo.fr/actualites/f1/une-carriere-a-la-leclerc-pour-bearman.html So yes I will bet (one British Shilling;-) that when Sir Loulou retires Ollie gets the seat!
Lets see how tolerant Haas are to accidents and the learning curve. Gene is not a man looking to really up the investment so far. Additional question is the Ferrari influence over this seat with Bearman.
But if he doesn't know how to develop a car, or give GREAT feedback to the Engineers, they are screwed. ie When Michael got to Ferrari, they kinda sucked. Same when he got to Benetton. A couple three years later they were winning. Can a 19 yr old do that?
Ollie needs to not think about that at all. He must develop at Haas, and not do a 'Mick' and crush the cars and the budget with bad accidents. The fun is just beginning. Bearman: ‘Hard not to think’ about Ferrari F1 future
Not overtly. He can tell them what he thinks and feels and it will get better improve over time, as he and his engineer work together to provide that data into the Haas system. He needs a good engineer to help him delineate what the car is doing as he is driving it.
--Esteban Ocon has signed to join Haas next season, BBC Sport has been told, and this is expected to be announced imminently, quite possibly in the run-up to this weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix. This comes from well-placed sources close to Haas and Mercedes, who manage the Frenchman.--
