It seems like everytime Ferrari decides to call a car after an important victory in racing
It brings bad luck to the cavallino rampante afterwards ...

for instance ;


In 1965 they called 250 Le Mans to the winner of the world's biggest endurance race
and they NEVER again had a success in that race ever since ....


In 1980 they called MONDIAL one car after Jody Scheckter F1 Championship ...
... and it took Ferrari 21 years to break the spell for another title until Schumacher stepped in 2000


In 2008 they called 16M a car after Raikkonen achieved the 16th F1 title and .....
...


... does that mean we tifosi will have to wait for another 18 years for another World Title ? if ever ...
