Had the scuderia badge ripped off of rear grill

    Hi all,

    I never made my first thread with pictures, but I picked up a 2009 scud a few weeks ago. Grey with silver stripes, yellow calipers, 16M wheels, over all a very clean car with ~6800 miles. Since then, I've put on 1,000 miles! I love the car and I've really started to get used to the paddles. I recently disconnected the valves, and the fun factor only went up!

    The bad part however, is I just noticed yesterday that somebody ripped off the 430 scuderia badge from the rear grill!! Must have happened a week or two ago, which means this happened within a week or so of me owning the car if I compare pictures I took at different times.

    Obviously, this sucks. Does anybody know what it would cost if I go to ferrari and want a new badge and presumably a new rear grill due to holes now being punched in it from the forced removal?

    That's really unfortunate. Sorry to hear but I can't see it being "too crazy". Might try and searing salvaged scud

    Pretty sure it did not fall off.

    Well, good thing nobody on this site has my VIN number then! Anyway, I just bought the car, I'm not going to baby it, avoid forum topics or put on x miles per year to preserve resale price. Its a car, its always a losing proposition :) lol.

    Still don't know where it happened, very possible it happened in down town palo alto parked on a main street out in the open...hard to believe but thats the only place it could have been exposed really.

    I had seen that site for those part numbers actually; I'll try to dig a bit more and hopefully order those replacements, thanks!

    Why do you think the Rolls Royce hood emblem electronically motors into the hood when you turn the car off?!?
