So guys a serious question my speedo also reads 20 KPH when parked and tacho a 1000, is there a fix on both of these instruments. Is it common for this to happen? ps 94,000kms on my 1991 348ts in Sydney Australia. regards larry

Funny, it's happened to some Ferraris numerous times ;)

The 'fix' would be to take out the little pin the needle sits on at this point on the dial :) It's deliberate, the instruments don't read accurately below this point so a small pin is in the dial so the needle doesn't fall below it and give a false reading. Have a close look diagonally up and left from the zero on Falcon's first pic. Just check but the numbers should be just below what you've said.

And Falcon, past exactly the same mark this weekend on a drive to a Ferrari meet - our cars are practically twins :)

I wonder if it's genuinely due to inaccuracy below 10mph, or whether it is merely that the needle would then start to obscure the first digit on the trip mileage if it pointed at 0mph. The latter sounds like a far more Italian automotive problem and solution. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.
