    Wow, that's depressingly cheap. I remember not too long ago when looking for my 44 turbo, I couldn't find anything that wasn't a total POS for under $8k...good luck with the sale, looks like a very nice car. [edit] did you put it on rennlist as well?

    I gotta say man, trying to lower the asking price 500 dollars when you know the kid is trying to make it through school is pretty damn cheap.

    It's rediculusly cheap. This car has made 360whp + in the recent past. The motor, interior are a '9'. The paint is a 7.5. This car is worth more like 8.3-10k :(

    It's so low already that I just laugh anyway. The car is on Rennlist of course. I put the ad up yesterday and I got 8 calls TODAY! One guy asked if the price was 'negotiable'..... I said SURE! I've love to raise it! :)

    Yeah, I'd say you're underselling. Heck, I'd almost buy it myself to re-sell in the spring if I was in a different position. Like I said, good luck with it, you should have NO trouble selling at that price; certainly don't negotiate, it's plenty cheap for a 100k mile car with mods like yours.

    Why are you selling it so cheap? Do you need the money urgently? I think you should've advertised for at least $6k

    Why advertise it for 6k? I just ran a Kelley Blue Book on it & it came in at $4,765 - It seems like he is asking the right price.

    A seven day Ebay auction with a good number of pictures and a thorough description would almost certainly result in a car sold closer to $6K than $4.5K. Most of the 951s that have sold in the 5K and under range have needed quite a bit of work.

    951's in good shape average $8k. Finely tuned cars go in the $10-20k range. Porsche owners don't go by the KBB, they generally follow Porsche 'excellences' market value updates.

    Being a kid is not excuse for anything dude! I'm 22. I was 17 when I bought this car. I didn't even try to haggle the guy :)

    Got a deposit on my car today.... wow I got 28 calls and 14 emails in one day. I asked WAY too little.....

    That's an understatement! Whoever it was here that was trying to low ball for another $500 just lost a great car at a great price.

    Congrats on the sale! FWIW there's always another car out there for you. But, I still wish I had the 73 240Z I'd had in highschool. I hope you took lots of pics of the car. Good luck at school.
