I had to leave my '03 Ferrari 360 (~4500 miles) sitting for around 3 months. It was supposed to be started and driven a bit but it wasn't. Now that I have pulled it out of storage the AC no longer blows cold air. It was ice cold before I put it in.

Is this normal and common? Compressor, temp sensor?

It might have lost its refrigerant charge due to a leak somewhere.

    Might be an electrical problem.

    Could be a slipping belt.

The 3 month storage is likely a coincidence (unless it was in a very hostile environment).

Depending on the environment, have seals checked for drying out. This would allow refrigerant to leak as well. You need to have someone run the A/C for 10 minutes every month at the least.

My crappy little 328 sits for 6 months at a time without being touched and the 20 year old A/C still works fine. I think your problem is coincidental to the car sitting.

It's in NE FL. Very humid here. I can't think it could be anything other than storage since the car was perfect when stored. Just had a major maint on it (~1000 miles ago) and was running great. I did hear a very slight belt squeal for about 1 second when it first started up from storage.

Guess I'll have to take it to the mechanic :(
