I got one of those 365 interesting fact calanders for X-mas and came across these facts. I thought Gus would like to see these. -Billy Crystal's character Harry in "When Harry met Sally" was from Haddonfield -The man who transcribed the Declaration of Independence was from Haddonfield. -The 1978 movie Halloween was filmed in Haddonfield NJ, but the story was set in Haddonfield, Illinois, which doesn't exist. (The real Haddonfield didn't want bad publicity.) -The first dinosaur discovered in North America was dug out of a pit on the end of Maple Avenue in Haddonfield NJ. There you go Gus
You are such a d!ckhead! LOL! Pat, Thanks for the facts. Very cool! Another one that I can add to the list is that NJ officially became a state inside of the Indian King Tavern (now a museum) which is a block from my house.
Boy, with all this historical significance, Barbara and I now have a valid reason to visit NJ! LOL! Hope you and Josie are getting settled in, Augustine.
Marq, I knew there had to be some way to get you guys up here! LOL! You and Barbara are always welcome at our house. Just make sure that you bring that yellow car next time.
Ferrari of Washington just finished the major on the car yesterday. It should be delivered back to me next week. Gonna make sure you actually see the car this year; whether it's up there or down here....
Gus, I think you and Haddonfield were meant for each other! See you in the museum! DL Image Unavailable, Please Login
Add to that: The '60s "singer" (sic) "Tiny Tim" (of "Laugh-In" fame) married a girl (much to everyone's surprise) from Haddonfield (much to her parents' dismay). (Tiptoe through the tulips ...)
I always wondered why they had that dinosaur statute in the middle of town, it was so odd the first time i saw it, now i know why it is there.
