    It's good to see a happy ending story. Not only should you increase your insurance value with upgrades invested in your car, keep up with the ever increasing market prices. My 308 is insured for $50k with Hagerty, but with todays prices rapidly going north, I think its time to up the replacement value.

    Correct. And don't let the appraisal be more than 5 years old.

    Silver Wheel asks that you appraise your car every 5 years. It would only be common sense that you appraise your car after modifying or restoring it.

    Hagerty didn't ask me for an appraisal I have been wth them fo 4 years.
