I would consider myself an F1 hater after owning one and then switching to a manual. Even I think a $30k premium is crazy.

How is it possible to put a premium on 95-97 cars as they were all manuals??How can you add more for a manual if 95-97"s were all manual..More understandable and correct if this were judging 98-99 as there were less manuals made in those years and those were the years that offered both..Makes absolute no sense!

Yea, you don't live in CT. Seriously, big difference in premiums., I asked some what it questions, like What if I lived in Philly? Followed by, why are the premiums so much lower if I live in a crowded, high crime city compared living in the sticks in CT where I'm the only car on the road. Answer, CT insurance laws. I believe I asked for $80k agreed value. Hagerty was like $1800/yr. The guys GEICO recommended, forget the name, were about $1200. I'm paying $260 for 6 months full coverage/ 6 months storage. The 308 at 100k was worse. I'm attached too. But I don't miss things once they are gone. I'd just move on to something else. As you know, I'm going to be 70 is a couple of months and there is still a lot of pxxx I haven't licked, or, oops, I mean fruit I haven't tasted.

Hagerty lumps all years 355 together. Year isn't as big a factor as condition. They are either manual or F1.

OK, I'm the first one to put mine out there:

    '98 F 355 Spider - Manual - Rosso & Tan, 30,000 miles - FCA Platinum Award Winner.
Asking $120,000 Firm (Based on Hagerty values).

I have no plans to sell her but is someone wants to throw "stupid money" at me, I'll take it.

Also have my '86 328 GTS which is actually for sale. 2016 Platinum winner. Probably a condition #2 with 70,000 miles. Hagerty pegs a condition #2 at $90K and a condition #3 at $59k. I'm splitting the difference and offering mine for $75K. Any takers?

I know this and think it makes absolutely no sense..Condition and Miles will always vary from car's and years..You really can not add more for a model year that did not offer F1..I do not see how you can, or possible even if Hagerty says it is..Whats so special about a 95-97 manual if every one produced for those years was a manual??..Just my opinion..Also, I find it a little funny how people will note that there 95-97 as gated..Why? they all are!
