Hi, sorry for not posting this in the "current values" thread - but I thought a separate thread would get more of a response from the UK.... Has anyone looked at the current Hagerty UK values for the Testarossa? Hagerty - Classic Car Values Do you think they`re about right or way off? It gives the same value for all "80`s" variants so I don`t know if it`s an overall average but I`m assuming their info is for UK RHD - or is it an average of all LHD sold in the UK too? Last time I looked a couple of months ago it said around £70k GBP for a "good - condition 3" 80`s version and thought it was a bit behind the current values - but now it`s giving £139k for a condition 3. I`ve got my `86 RHD flying mirror insured at £85K GBP, which I thought was reasonable accounting for the higher mileage (63k miles). I follow the auctions quite a bit - but RHD at auction seem to have dried up, so it`s hard to judge as there`s only dealer cars to go by. Hagerty is now showing £98K GBP for fair/4, £139K good/3, £165k/2 excellent and £210k/1 concours.... What do UK owners reckon? Dom.
Dom, Joe Macari recently valued my 87 Testa which I guess is an 'excellent minus' (21k miles, all very nice) at 130k GBP. Which is below these Hagerty values.
Cheers for the info Darius, yours was a good buy aswell! Sorry Joe I haven't really watched values of Boxers in the UK - other than the fact they have rocketed too ofc - I remember when they were £35k! Dom.
