    Do the half shafts get painted on these cars? Our 330 had them painted and the 275 did not. What is period correct? I have had multiple different answers on this and I have also found pictures with either or.

    Not plated and not treated black in my observations. May have been painted, not certain, and there may be no definitive answer to this. I have seen some original with left over traces of blue-green paint. One option is to paint with cast-iron colored paint.

    I have used a semi-gloss black to paint the half-shafts
