Is that price in American dollars? Last I heard hose things only go for around 73k. 157 is a downright rip off, regardless of who drove it.

No mate, Australian dollars, so about 140K US.
And you should see the Ferrari prices here, a 430 is close to 500K AUD which is 450K USD "on the road".
That's why we laugh (cry!) when yanks talk about the high prices of Ferrari's in the US....

From the aussie perpective, considering you can buy a 308 in the US for 30K (or less!!) I really don't understand why everyone doesnt have one .. , or 2, or 3...

There is more to this story, perhaps a "Do you know who I am?". I'd think any country that still clings to V8 rear drive cars would be good natured about this sort of thing.
