+1 I cannot see Hamilton representing ferrari in any scenario. Even see him driving a production Ferrari car would sit right with me.
I think you are getting a little over sensitive, Peter. As you rightly say everyone is entitled to an opinion and Steve was expressing his. He wasn't claiming to speak for "most folk" he was simply giving his opinion about what most folk would think.
Yes, sure...He is splitting hairs again like he did yesterday... He said that it is JUST MY opinion although I see that I am certainly not alone here... Yesterday he liked "the cleverer gives in" and today is is following me around....How many posts over here were saying that Hamilton does not fit to Ferrari? Why did he pick mine in particular, especially after yesterday??? This time it was not me replying on his post so please do not turn that around against me...
If Mclaren and Honda deliver the goods i can see him go back to them, but to Ferrari never (of course, i also knew Alonso was going to be poison but Luca didn´t listen to me , he preferred the sound of santander's money......Hamilton does no fit at Ferrari,he's good but he as no clue about what a Ferrari driver should be, quite the oposite...SEb was a perfect choice for us, and i'm pretty sure he will deliver.
Ermm a totally irrelevant post, to the topic in hand. I pointed out my opinion, believe me I'am not following you around. I merely responded to your post, sorry if it was contrary to yours, however that's the whole point of a forum, or have I got that wrong?, if we all agreed it would be wrong in my book. So to summarize, one can only assume you are on your back foot backtracking otherwise you would not appear so hypersensitive trying to change the subject matter.
THIS is purely your opinion And this from someone who generally calls others haters as soon as they do not share the same opinion... Whatever you say...Believe me, I am getting less and less intersted in the drivel you post...You like to change the subject matter more often than anybody else (see yesterday about your virtual one-man team in a subject of strategy calls) but now you play judge, funny you... Or back to topic: the majority over here thinks that Hamilton would not match Ferrari but you know better as you know exactly what "most folk" think. Unless you count yourself multiple times you are obviously wrong over here...
wow....so blind!! that's not what's happening at all. He quoted your sentiment, not verbatim. He'***** the nail on the head and you're clutching at straws. and calling him hypersensitive? How are things, Mr Kettle?
I'm not a Hamilton fan, I think he is a good driver in a Fantastic car. I could on the other hand see Hamilton going to Ferrari, I think that jet set kardashian lifestyle woudl fit in perfectly with modern Ferrari.... I dont see that Hamilton and Vettle would be there together, simply becuase Vettle would most likely not alow it. I see the next driver either being Bottas or possibly Button ( bargan basement - and not competition for Vettle but good for sponsors. Gutierrez is coming up and there are a number of other young guys in the Ferrari ladder who are coming along... once Vettle hangs it up, you will see a lot of young guns coming on.
"jet set kardashian lifestyle " LOL That sounds like bad taste!!! I don't think that represents a good image for the prospective Ferrari customers, who tend to be middle-age male.
You just do not get do you, I posted my opinion you posted yours, it was contrary to yours, so you are the one getting all hot under the collar, I could not care less, you are accusing me of following you around, well if that is the case maybe you should think a bit more clearly about what you post, that's if you do not want me pulling you on it, then you won't have to read my drivel, that just happened to strike a nerve...cool your jets
You really want to get banned again don't you...a unnecessary and meaningless post that has nothing whatsoever to do with you, so let me ask you what is your purpose on here ?
I'm not sure Ferrari would want to listen to the whiny drivel that comes out of Elton every time he gets it wrong. With vettel they have a focused, robotic driver with an eye for the absolute maximum, and who wants to emulate schumi. Vettel is obsessed with enhancing the Ferrari legend, not just his own. Elton would want it all about him, all of the time, and no one is bigger than Ferrari itself
Hi aircon, glad to see you are back! How's life down under? Still struggling with all that sunshine, Amber nectar and amazingly hot Aussie talent? Lucky sod
No, you do not get it...Yesterday you ment "spot on" to letting others having a different opinion and today you do exactly the contrary. May I ask what "inspired" you to pick exactly my post out of 10 or more not suiting you opinion??? You generously give way in the one thread just to open the same stuff in the next one...Who do you want to fool? Fortunately there is another option to avoid reading your drivel...Since tesla/toil are not posting that much these days you are more than ever on your Hamilton-praise-crusade so I will not miss to much in future as your post are predictable anyway...Have a good life PS: now you can tell Aircon and others in future what YOU think is a meaningless post...
I'am sorry you feel that way, I had you down as a man that could handle a contrarian point of view, oh well seems I was wrong. Aircons agenda and purpose in the F1 section, one would hope the jury is out debating it, it is not my concern.
^^^ Gregg's right, let's get this back onto Formula1. We've been making good progress on cutting down the pointless bickering over irrelevant things such as defining exactly what constitutes an opinion ad nauseam, let's not backtrack and get bogged down in personal pettiness. If anyone thinks someone's opinion is worth nothing, then it's not worth your response. If anyone thinks someone's post is pointless, then it's pointless to respond to it. I'd rather not ban several people and have you all miss the end of the season. All the best, Andrew.
That's great Andrew. However, one person continues to ride the fine edge of drawing arguments from nowhere and then being obstinate enough to drag them on and on, and his name does NOT start with a P. (Nor an S of course!)
All of you realize you're arguing over something that has an ice cubes' chance in heck of ever happening, right?
