MSC didn't have the best car in '94, '95 or '00. He also didn't have the best car in '99. How do you want to call '99 ?
I mean your comprehension is very low, isn’t it? I clearly said MS won a title without the best car in 94, so did Lewis in 08. Schumacher is miles ahead of Hamilton, but In 95 with the Renault engine he has least as good of a car. Herbert scored 45 points versus 49 for coulthard and Schumacher hammered useless Damon by like 40 points. 99 ? What is your point, you don’t Rmbr him crashing into the wall? Some people don't get it man. He doesn't want to accept Ferrari built the best car from 99-04. And they are supposed to be Ferrari fans lol
That Williams was almost 2 seconds faster than the other cars. Yes I remember the Ferrari brake failure we were at Silverstone. MSC bounced back from his broken leg pretty good for '00.
On talent alone Schumacher should have been WDC in 98,99 as well. I never rated hakkinen that high, specially in the wet. 96 was a great season for him given his car… 97, of course he was better than Villeneuve but I loved Jacques so… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I heard lots of whining that Ferrari was too dominant, getting too many points,.......in that era. We all knew 5 years of dominance is BAD for any sports series {F1 through bowling}
Can we talk about greatest of his time instead of goat? Multiple different variables and mechanicals. Schumi probably couldn't drive what ham does and vice versa.
Agreed funny how ppl forget or revisit the history to their convenience now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I clearly said MS won a title without the best car in 94, so did Lewis in 08. ..No he didn't...his car was every bit as good as the Ferrari, if no better, it kinda swinged from race to race....
What a sports fan says when he's talking crap - "My guy won because of his talent, your guy won because he had the fastest car." As for reality, Lewis the the most successful F1 driver in the history of the sport because of his driving talent and business ability to develop and navigate his way from childhood go cart champ to the right team and right car at the right time. Lewis is the only man in the history of the sport with over 100 victories because of the choices he made and the dedication he put into developing his career and talent. Bottom line is, Elton is just a bunch of stats as result of driving the best car for the longest time...as simple as that....in terms of talent, speed, car control, he will never be mentioned in the same sentence than the true greats.
That my friend is being called a revisionist . There is only one WDC winner each year and that year was Ferrari, simple. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe, I won’t argue he is not my favorite, but IMO he is at least top 10 and that’s quite an achievement. I mean who do we place above? Gilles (for u) Senna Prost MS Clark Alonso Piquet Fangio? That’s stretching we don’t know what he would do with modern cars Maybe lauda I mean not Vettel for sure, not button, not any of the hills, rosbergs , not mansell, not Kimi, not Villeneuve Genuinely I can’t find 10. Gilles for me and for the vast majority of anyone who has seen him race. You can also put Mika, Alesi, Moss, Ronnie, Stewart, (Lauda for sure), (Kimi in his prime was definetly better), Alonso not sure, better in a bad car, but i guess slower in a perfect one, Mansell would beat him (untill brain faded)...if we went to a time were other skills were needed like car development and all, i would put Nico and Jenson before him, also keke in terms of talent.
Oooooppppssss..... Enzo was dead a few years already.....'couldna' been..... Ooooohhhhh..... You meant WCC....... Agreed.
Ferrari had 2 WDC worthy drivers on the team whereas LH was the only one worthy on the McLaren team. Kovvalainen had more retirements too. That said autosport still named the McLaren the racing car of the year in 2008. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Again don’t care, results matter, Ferrari had the WDC car, rest is excuses to me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
